Preserving forages will be the focus of three hay and pasture conferences to be held in Maryland and Delaware in mid-January.

How management affects baleage fermentation and nutritional quality, a rundown on hay preservatives and the effectiveness of hay moisture testers will be covered at the conferences. Yield and economics of no-till-planted summer and fall annual forages will be discussed and other topics will round out each event.
