Avoiding alfalfa establishment pitfalls and alfalfa’s response to Headline fungicide will be among topics featured at next month’s joint symposium and annual meetings of the Midwest Forage Association, Wisconsin Custom Operators and Professional Nutrient Applicators Association of Wisconsin. The event is slated for Jan. 20-22 at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.

In all, 25 educational sessions will be offered in a concurrent session format. Other topics include alternative forage uses, alfalfa nitrogen credit recommendations, precision ag technologies, corn silage yield drivers and profit robbers and more. Along with the formal presentations, the symposium will feature a trade show and offer opportunities to network with industry experts and peers.

Pre-registration deadline is Jan. 10. The full program cost is $115 for members and includes proceedings, programs and meals. Single-day and multiple-person farm or business registration options are also available. Register online.
