An Ohio hay production school, set for April 16, will address pasture and hay fertility and hay cutting management. Sponsored by Ohio State University Extension, the school will be held at the Ashtabula County Extension office in Jefferson.

Weed identification, forage selection, hay renovation and forage species identification are other topics to be addressed. The program will also include a hayfield diagnostic walk at a local farm.

Registration costs $20/person and includes lunch and program handouts. Reservations are requested by April 8.
