Ohio Grazing School To Focus On Profit

Managed intensive grazing, economics and management will be discussed

A three-day Pasture for Profit grazing school will be held Dec. 4 and 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. until noon at the Jackson Agricultural Research Station, Jackson, OH.

The school will cover managed intensive grazing, plant growth, grazing economics, how to choose forage varieties, paddock layout and design as well as other topics.

The final day will include a farm visit that allows participants to view grazing-management practices, including fence and livestock watering systems.

That's my kind of school! It's focused on teaching students practical actual things, it engages them in different types of activities that are meant to help them develop and gain confidence professionally. I am sure your grades improve if you combine practice and theory in your learning process, that's what they're doing here and am definitely a supporter.
