Visitors watch machines in action – and check the forage quality of the hay handled – at Hay & Forage Expo.
Working field demonstrations will be a highlight at the 2014 Hay & Forage Expo, scheduled for June 25-26 at the Central Iowa Expo in Boone, IA.
Mowing, conditioning, tedding, merging, baling, hay handling and silage demonstrations on alfalfa acreage will be showcased at the event, formerly called the Farm Progress Hay Expo. Visitors will be able to compare various equipment brands operating side by side under actual field conditions.
Exhibits featuring major and short-line equipment manufacturers, seed companies, building and storage facility suppliers and suppliers of other forage-related products and services will also be a major part of the event, now in its 28th year.
The expo is sponsored by Hay & Forage Grower, Wallaces Farmer, Wisconsin Agriculturist and The Farmer publications.
“Hay & Forage Grower is proud to lend its name to this prestigious event that offers forage-equipment manufacturers the opportunity to strut their stuff and growers the chance to see so many machines in action," says its editor, Fae Holin.
